Development Authority Approves Sports Complex Bid

WHEELING — The Ohio County Development Authority approved a $4.2 million bid for the initial phase of the building of a sports complex at The Highlands.

Colaianni Construction Inc., of Dillonvale, was the low bidder of the project. The authority approved the bid unanimously Tuesday evening. Construction is expected to begin this summer, although the authority has not given a specific date.
