Queen of the Mississippi Docks Today in McMechen

McMECHEN — Passengers on a 10-day river cruise from St. Louis to Pittsburgh stopped this morning in McMechen.

The Queen of the Mississippi is nearing the end of its current cruise, which will end in Pittsburgh. The ship stopped in the region this morning.

The tour is part of the ship’s “Ohio River Cruise.”

The paddle-wheel riverboat is owned by American Cruise Lines. According to the company’s website, “the riverboat accommodates 150 passengers in a total number of 78 cabins. … The staterooms feature a private bath, window, interior entrance and Wi-Fi. Queen of the Mississippi boasts the most spacious staterooms in river cruising industry with more space per guest than the other riverboats. An all-American crew provides carefully personalized service.”
