Jack Earl McNabb

McNABB, Jack Earl, 78, of Wheeling, W.Va., died on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.

He was born September 21, 1929 in Wheeling, the son of the late Harry E. McNabb and Ruth Clegg McNabb.

Mr. McNabb was a high school graduate of the former Triadelphia High School in Wheeling; a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Wheeling; and the retired owner of the former McNabb Refrigeration of Wheeling. He also was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict; and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Jean Rexroad; a sister, Dorothy Kahle; and a nephew, Todd Kirchner.

Surviving are his wife, Maureen S. Flaherty McNabb; a brother, Robert H. McNabb and his wife, Judith, of Wheeling; a sister, Susan J. Kirchner and her husband, Doug, of Wheeling; a sister-in-law, Rose mary Wasemann and her husband, John, of Charleston, W.Va.; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer McNabb, Jayna Alderman and her husband, Frank, Mark McNabb and his wife, Nancy, Chad, Natalie and Nolan Kirchner, Becky, Kenneth, Kevin, Kerri and Bonnie Rexroad and Brian Wasemann; and his great- nieces and great-nephews, Jaclyn, Kellen, Camden and Brennan.

Friends received on Friday, October 26, 2007, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Margaret Carr Nickell officiating.

Entombment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling.
