HAUGHT, Francis A., “Bud,” 80, of Mounds-ville, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
He was born November 21, 1930 in Belton, W.Va., to the late William M. Haught and Samantha A. Tuttle.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was retired from Weirton Steel.
He was Christian by Faith.
He loved the outdoors and working on his trucks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rhett Douglas Haught; two brothers, Earl and Ernie Haught; and four sisters, Ethel West, Mary Turnbull, Fern Hart and Blanche Chambers.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Haught of Moundsville, the love of his life and best friend; one daughter, Samantha Haught of Moundsville; one son, Kevin M. Haught (Darlene) of Weirton, W.Va.; two step-daughters, which he loved as his own, Melissa Bliefus of Moundsville, and Krystal (Matt) Leach of Warren, Pa..; one daughter-in-law, Allison Haught of Weirton; eight grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Rhett, Cameron, Luka, Tristan, Emily and Tony; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. at CARE Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second St., Moundsville.
Funeral Services will be Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the CARE Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hancock of the Ash Avenue Church of God officiating.
VFW Honor Guard will hold Military Services.
Interment will follow at Big Run Cemetery in Cameron, W.Va.
