KNOLLINGER, Ruthedda Mai Borst Williams, 86, of Wheeling, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Liza’s Place, Wheeling.
She was born January 5, 1925, in Wheeling, W.Va.
Mrs. Knollinger was a member of the St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elm Grove. She loved to play bridge, shop and go out to eat.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James B. Williams Sr. in 1965, and Woodrow F. Knollinger Sr. in 1996; her parents, Henry and Dora Englehard Borst; two sisters, Betty Bundy and Wilda Pryor; step-daughter, Virginia M. Lapp; and a grandson, Gary Knollinger.
Surviving are a daughter, Gay and Harold Yensen of Valley Grove and their children, Christian and Brian (Wendy) Yensen, and their children, Colton, Rachael, Ben and Will; a son, James B. Jr. and JoAnn Williams of Triadelphia, and their children, Jim (Joyce), Jennifer and Jessica Williams and their children, Justin, Morgan and Austin; a brother-in-law, Harvey Pryor and many nieces and nephews; the Knollinger family, Bernie, Woody, Gary, Doug and Judy and their children, Bernie, Sheleigh, Saun, Vickie, Monica, Melissa, Steven, Dave, Brian, Pam, Brent and Sammy; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 304-242-2311, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2011, with the Reverend R. Paul Schafer officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va.
