BARTSCH, Jeannie, 66, of Morgantown W.Va., passed away Tuesday evening, October 18, 2011.
She was born December 7, 1944, daughter of the late Walter Edward Dickman and Ruth (Dunn) Dickman in Wheeling W.Va.
Jeannie was a Catholic by faith and a devoted homemaker and nurse. She practiced her nursing profession with compassion for over 47 years in four different states. She so loved her family and her friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Tom Bartsch at home in Morgantown, W.Va.; two daughters Jennifer Santisi (Anthony) of Wallingford, Pa., and Amy Kish (Steve) of Zanesville, Ohio; two sisters, Susie Beazel(Dave) of Wheeling W.Va., and Sally Laudeman of Cape May, N.J.; two sisters in law, Bette Kubic (Steve) of Colerain, Ohio, and Nancy Vapner of Wheeling, W.Va.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Betty will be held Friday, October 21, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, W.Va. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Wheeling. Interment will follow services at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
