DOTSON, Norma “Jean,” 84, of New Martinsville, W.Va., died Sunday.
Visitation today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, New Martinsville, where funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday.
DOTSON, Norma “Jean,” 84, of New Martinsville, W.Va., died Sunday, November 6, 2011, at OVMC, Wheeling, W.Va.
She was born October 24, 1927, in New Martinsville, the daughter of the late Franklin Pierce Sr. and Mary Emma Anderson Clegg.
Jean was a retired cook with the Wetzel County Schools and a member of the Church of Christ in Duffy, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund “Jack” Dotson, in 2004; a sister, Edith Finnegan; and two brothers, Franklin Pierce Clegg Jr. and Paul Eugene Clegg.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Carol Hayes Kimble of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and two special family members that were like grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Cooper and Aaron (Anissa) Bohrer, both of Paden City, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Jerry Yost officiating.
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville.
