BOLON, William H., 76, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, Ohio.
He was born at Barnesville, Ohio, on May 21, 1936, a son of the late Raymond L. and Pauline Moore Bolon.
He was a retired partner with the former Native Manufacturing Inc. Lewisville, Ohio. He was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio; a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Woodsfield, Ohio; a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 2302, Woodsfield, Ohio. Bill enjoyed playing music in his spare time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna M. Smithberger Bolon on May 19, 2001, and a brother, Donald O. Bolon.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Miller Baker Bolon whom he married on January 24, 2004; two daughters, Julie A. (Vince) Hogue of Lewisville, Ohio, and Christine Bolon (Chad Brown) of Clarington Ohio; one son, L. William (Becky) Bolon of Woodsfield, Ohio; one stepson, David Baker (Carrie Kinsey) of Beallsville, Ohio; one stepdaughter Brenda (Lyle) Barker of Paden City, West Virginia; one brother, John “Jack” Bolon of Somerton, Ohio; one sister, Sandra (Herb) Wilson of Beallsville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Hannah Jones, Dylan Baker, Gabe Bolon and Carver Bolon; seven step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with vigil services at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
