BUCK, Junior “Dale,” age 80, of Whiteman Hill, New Martinsville, WV, died Friday, September 21, 2012.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 600 S, 4th Ave., Paden City.

BUCK, Junior “Dale,” 80, of Whiteman Hill, New Martinsville, WV died Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home.

He was born May 22, 1932 in Lone Tree, Tyler County, WV the son of the late Hugh and Ida Mae Harter Buck.

He was a retired brick layer with Weirton-Pittsburgh Steel in Weirton and founder and former owner of Dale’s Repair and Service on Foundry Street in New Martinsville.

Dale was an avid hunter, gardener and beekeeper, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of First Baptist Church of Paden City.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Brady, Floyd, and Ira “Bus” Buck; and two sisters, Opal Long and Irene Haven.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Inez Buck; two daughters, Debbie (Roger) Thomas and Melinda (Wyatt) Graham all of New Martinsville; six grandchildren, Angel (Steve) Hines of New Martinsville, Philip Leasure of Moundsville, Ashley Martin, Quentin, Ethan, and Joanne Graham all of New Martinsville; a sister, Elizabeth (Ray) Lancaster of Weirton, a brother, Bruce Buck of Melvern, OH and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville. The family will also receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 600 S. 4th Avenue, Paden City with Rev. Jonathan Mast officiating. Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens, New Martinsville where the Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.
