DANEHART, Bernard Louis, 73, of South Wheeling died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.
He was born on December 12, 1938 in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Carl and Della Behrens Danehart.
Mr. Danehart was a retired Electrician for Lamar Adverting, Wheeling and a Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Iola Club, the Cave Club and the Forester Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William “Bill” Louis in 1994; seven brothers; and a sister.
Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Santa “Sandy” Sawyer Danehart; four daughters, Tylene R. Coffield (Michael) of Columbus, OH, Dottie A. Jaeger (Chuck) of Wheeling, Shan L. Danehart (Lester Hall) of Wheeling and Michele Will (Bill) of Wheeling; three brothers, Robert “Bud” Danehart of Wheeling, Arthur “Bib” Danehart (Phyllis) of Wheeling and Glenn Danehart (Nancy) of Wheeling; a sister, Carolin Fleahman (Cliff) of Weirton, WV; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 36th and Jacob St. South Wheeling (304-232-4060). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling with the Reverend Frank O’Kruta as celebrant. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
