WOODRUFF, William R. “Bud,” 86, of Cameron, WV died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his residence.
William was Born on December 15, 1925, the son of the late Rex and Hazel Buzzard Woodruff.
He was retired from Columbia Gas; honorary member of the Cameron FFA; and a U.S. Army World War II Veteran.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Ward Chaplin and Eldora Wendt; brother, John Richard Woodruff.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Wanda Woodruff of Cameron; two daughters, Debbie (Mark) Fitzsimmons and Dennie Kay (Sonny) Neely; grandchildren, Tracy Fitzsimmons, Dustin (Mollie) Neely, Katie Fitzsimmons and Lucas Neely; great-grandchild, Gatlin Neely; sisters, Norma (Howard) Williams, and Connie Jean Brown, both of Sardis, OH; brother-in-law, Kermit Wendt of Cameron.
Friends will be received Tueday, October 16 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 17 at 1 p.m.
Interment will follow at Rock Lick Cemetery, Cameron.
