BEAMAN, James Edward “Jack,” 93, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away November 8, 2012, at the Continuous Care Unit, Wheeling Hospital.
He was born April 3, 1919, in Logan, WV, to the late James and Ida Barnes Beaman.
He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. with 30 years of service at the Beech Bottom plant in maintenance.
He was an Army veteran in World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his three brothers, William, John and Robert Beaman, three sisters, Bessie Jodway, Margaret Britt, and Virginia Greathouse. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle White Beaman whom he married January 10, 1944, three sons, Clark Beaman, Phillip Beaman and his wife, Shiela both of Wellsburg, WV and Gary Beaman Bunnell, FL, a daughter, Patricia McClure and her husband, Doug of Wellsburg, WV, nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2012, from 3-5 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. At the request of the family private funeral services will be held. Entombment at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
