BOHRER, David “Bryce,” age 91, of Proctor, WV, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at the New Martinsville Care & Rehab Center, New Martinsville, WV.
He was born August 29, 1921, in Wetzel County, WV, the son of the late Sep and Mae Oblinger Bohrer.
Bryce was a retired hot metal truck driver at Ormet Corp. He was a member of the Proctor Christian Church, Moose Lodge #931 New Martinsville, Speilers Club in Proctor, and Wetzel County Coonhunters. He was an avid hunter and sportsman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Velma McFadden Bohrer; a son, Gregory “Flash” Bohrer; two brothers, Reed Bohrer and Charles Lyn Bohrer; and a sister, Myra Ford.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Bryce Bohrer; special friends, Mike Acree and Joe Acree; a cousin, Eliza Cain, all of Proctor; and all his friends at Bruce Lanes in New Martinsville.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Mark Crow officiating.
Interment in Palmer Cemetery, Proctor.
