SCOTT, Diana Lee Monahan, 60, of Wheeling passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013, at her home.
She was born March 1, 1952, in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lee E. and Lucille Marie Smith Monahan.
Diana was a graduate of the former Triadelphia High School and she was a homemaker.
She was pure and giving in her Christian service to others. She was more than a wife, mother, and grandmother, who took care of her family and never had a bad thing to say about anyone or anything.
Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years, Charles D. “Chuck” Scott, Sr.; four sons, Charles D. “Chuck” Scott, Jr. and his fiancee, Lauren Burgess; Lee M. Scott; Chad C. Scott and his wife, Charlene; and Christopher L. Scott and Nancy Supler all of Wheeling; 10 grandchildren, Kyla and Chas Scott; Hannah and Madison Burgess; Carlee, Chelsea, CJ, twins, Kaleigh and Kyleigh Scott, and Kaitlyn Scott; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Hocker; a sister, Lucille “Teal” Dytko of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering at the family home, 10 Beech Street, Wheeling, from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
