John Scullion

SCULLION, John Robert “Jack”, 73 of Follansbee, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18, at Trinity Medical Center West surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV where funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21st at 11 a.m. with William Cooper, minister officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.

Full military honors will be conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.

John Scullion

SCULLION, John Robert “Jack,” 73, of Follansbee, WV, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18th, at Trinity Medical Center West surrounded by his family.

Jack was born on May 5, 1939, in Wellsburg, WV, a son of the late Harry and Wilna (Wakefield) Scullion. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Pat Bolen.

Jack was a peacetime veteran of the Air Force. He retired after 22 years from Neo Industries, Inc. where he worked in Nickel and Chrome Plating. He was a member of the Follansbee Church of Christ where he was a former Deacon. Jack was a former Boy Scout leader. He was an avid Steelers Fan.

Jack was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 51 years, Theodora “Theo” (Goresh) Scullion whom he married on April 16, 1961; two daughters, Jackie (George) Gaughenbaugh of Weirton, WV and Missy (Daryl) Marosz of Follansbee, WV; four brothers, Bill (Eileen) Scullion, Pete, and Jim Scullion all of Syracuse, NY and Mike (Sherry) Scullion of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Jean (Jay) Waltuck and Kay (Jack) Fisher both of Syracuse, NY; a sister-in-law, Darlene (Joe) Cross of Weirton, WV; four grandchildren, Lauren and Rachel Gaughenbaugh and Amy and Kristopher Marosz.
