KUTHY, Michael Andrew, 65 of Triadelphia died on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his home.
He was born April 5, 1947 in Martins Ferry, OH the son of Betty Shirbish Ross of Brownstown, IN and the late Zonnie Kuthy and was a Methodist by faith.
Mike was a former mechanic at Savage Heavy Highway and Alex E. Paris Contracting, a high school graduate of McGuffey High School, a member of the Elm Grove Eagles Aeries 1891, and an avid league bowler for many years at the Elm Grove Bowling Lanes. He also loved to farm, hunt and race stock cars.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Auber and his first wife, Diane Holman Kuthy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Zelda Elena Hall Kuthy; three children including Scott M. Kuthy and his wife, Tammie of Wheeling and Stephanie N. Kuthy of Weirton, WV; a step daughter, Amanda Kay Hall of Warwood, WV and a step son; two brothers, James J. Kuthy of Triadelphia, WV and Zonnie L. Kuthy of Seymour, IN; seven grandchildren including, Kylie M. And Scott M. Kuthy, II, Katelyn L., Marissa K. and Michael J. Clark; a stepgranddaughter, Elena P. Hall-Soto and his faithful dog, Zip.
Friends will be received on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling (304 242 2311) where services will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Darrin Wright officiating. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
