KLUBERT, Kristopher Anthony, 24, of 216 3rd St., Yorkville, Ohio, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Norfolk, VA. He was born Oct. 2, 1988 in Wheeling, WV, the son of Kevin and Valerie (Domenick) Klubert.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and served in the US Navy. He had been deployed to the Red Sea and Persian Gulf on the USS Carter Hall. He was a Petty Officer 3rd Class and a Gunners Mate 3. He was also a Yorkville police officer and volunteer firefighter.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Olga (Rosati) Klubert and maternal gradfather Peter Joseph Domenick.
Surviving are maternal grandparents Lloyd and Margaret Hutchison of Harrisville, Ohio; brother John Joseph “JJ” Klubert of Yorkville; aunts Kelly Klubert and Gina Hanket; uncles Joseph Domenick and Anthony Domenick; best friends Brent Yokum, Braden Fisher and Steven Sambuco.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Kristopher and to celebrate his life on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, Ohio.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, Ohio with Father Dan Heusel as celebrant.
Interment at the Holly Memorial Gardens.
Wake services will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. from the funeral home with Msgr. Gene Mullett officiating.
Full military services will be conducted by the US Navy.
