Ronald Lee Robinson

ROBINSON, Ronald Lee, son of the late C. Burl and Delora E. Newman Robinson.

Ronald was born January 16, 1931, in Wetzel Co., WV and passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in Virginia Beach, VA.

A graduate from Magnolia High and West Liberty, he served in the U.S. Army, retired from PPG and was the “Tile Guy” – laying ceramic tile in many homes around the Virginia Beach area. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Ronald married Dorothy Quinn from Sudbury, MA who preceded him in death.

Ronald is survived by his children and grandchildren: Bridget (Tom) their sons Matthew and Mark Boston, Monica and her daughter Katie, R. Vincent, Paula and her children, V. Lee, Allison and Derek Shelley, Stephanie (Chris) their children, Jessie Castillo, Samantha and Emily Vega, Karen (Manuel Puyana) their children Laura and Ricky, Anne and her children, Robert and Brianna, T. Erin (Shey), J. Eric (Michelle) and their children, Emma, Aleksandar and Oliver, his great-grandchildren: Alexis Shelley, Joseph Haun, Brennan Shelley and Isabella Robinson, his brothers: James, Kent and Joseph Robinson. Ronald was preceded in death by his sisters, Phyllis E, Doris J and F. Connie Starkey and brother, John “Jack” Robinson.

Visitation to be held at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, WV, on Friday March 8, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with Rosary Devotions at 8:30 p.m..

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in New Martinsville on Saturday March 9, 2013 at 11 a.m.

Burial to follow at Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville where the combined Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.
