Doris Stucin

STUCIN, Doris J. (Ujcich), 85, of Windsor Heights, WV, passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side on Monday, April 22, 2013.

Doris was born on May 22, 1927, in Glencoe, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Kravanya) Ujcich.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Stucin, Sr., who passed away on September 10, 2010; her beloved grandmother, Frances Kravanya; three sisters, Rose Marie Sovinski, Dorothy Stucin, and Erma Camilletti; two brothers, Joseph and John Ujcich; and her grandson, Elijah Stucin Neel.

Doris was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Beech Bottom, WV. She was a member of the Slovenian National Benefit Society, “SNPJ” Lodge #292.

She is survived by four children, Doris (Charles) Sandreth, Buckhannon, WV, Ernest (Janice) Stucin, Jr., Wellsburg, WV, Janet (James) Gubanish, Windsor Heights, WV, and LouAnn (Curt) Neel, Bethany, WV; three brothers, Michael R. (Becky) Ujcich, Lexington, KY, Frank A. (Mary Lou) Ujcich and Ronald (Eva) Ujcich both of Wellsburg, WV; four sisters, Helen Pettini, Windsor Heights, WV, Jacqueline (John) Warren, Castalia, OH, Olga Slenska, Johnstown, PA, Margaret (Samuel) White, Wellsburg, WV; brother-in-law, Matthew Camilletti, Wellsburg, WV; eight grandchildren, Jessica Garrett, Holly Tenney, Jason Sandreth, Jody Krzywdik, Jill Gubanish, Ashley Stucin, Chelsey Stucin, Lucas Stucin Neel; seven great-grandchildren, Morgan and Payton Knicely, Katie and Tyler Sandreth, Katherine, Brennen, and Mackinsey Krzywdik; four stepgrandchildren, Cody and Cade Garrett, Nate Tolliver, and Aiden Courtney.

She is also survived by her beloved pet Willie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 3-8 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV.

Mass of Christian burial held on Friday, April 26th at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Beech Bottom, WV with the Rev. Fr. Dan Pisano as celebrant.

Vigil service will be held on Thursday, April 25th at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Parkview Memorial Gardens in Wheeling, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brooke County Easter Seals, at 1305 National Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003.
