LAPINSKY, Linda Elizabeth Absalom, 60, of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born November 5, 1952 in Martin’s Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Charles and Rose “Katie” Leech Absalom.
Linda was a member of St. Marx Lutheran Church, Elm Grove, Martin’s Ferry High School graduate, truck driver recruiter and director for Swift, Arrow and TDDS, member of the American Cancer Society in which she was a very active supporter, an avid reader and her special gift was being a loving mother and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Larry Lapinsky of Wheeling, WV; seven children, Michael (Aihua) Kralovic of Columbus, OH, Asley (fiance, Joshua Wear) Kralovic of Shadyside, OH, Aaron Lapinsky of Wheeling, Larry (Heather) Lapinsky II of Kentucky, Karrie Corrick, Lisa (Patrick) Banko and Jamie (John) Booth all of Wheeling; brother, Charles “Chuck” (Barb) Absalom of Martins Ferry, OH; sister, Cissy (Guy) Ault of Shadyside; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 10 until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501 or St. Judes Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
