DELLGET, Martha Mary “Marsha,” 84, of Wheeling, WV, peacefully left this life Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 20, 1929, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Bashir “Pete” and Sarah Naufel.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Wheeling and a Catholic by faith. She was a retired bridal consultant and buyer for Hornes of Wheeling, owner and operator of Marsha’s Bride and Groom and a volunteer at Wheeling Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Angela Heise, Tillie Neuman and her twin Marie Marsh.
Surviving are her husband, James H. Dellget; a son, James N. Dellget (Kathy Prezkop); two daughters, Tracie Dawson (Bill) and Leslie Starkey; a sister, Thelma Gitlin; six grandchildren, David Dawson (Carrie), Cortney Lucarelli (Jason), Brandon and Rebekah Dawson, Zachary and Jacob Starkey and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be private. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wheeling Soup Kitchen.
