NELSON, Chad Michael, 29, formerly of Wheeling, WV, was tragically killed in an automobile accident while on his way to work, on Thursday, June 13, 2013.

He was born on Sept. 30. 1983, to Debra (Comer) Nelson of Wheeling and David Nelson of Moundsville, WV.

Chad graduated from Wheeling Park High School and then went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army in Iraq and Afghanistan. He will be remembered for his artistic abilities, sense of humor and warm and loving heart.

Chad was employed by Fenix Fabrication in Akron, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Chad will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Kristin (nee Nawrocki) of 7 years; loving brothers, Joseph (Tiffany) and James; and nephew, Landen; grandmother, Elizabeth Stifel; great-uncles and aunts, Terry and Cindy Irvine of Wheeling and Russell and Kathy Irvine of Oviedo, Fla.; uncles and aunts, Mike and Holly Nelson of Morgantown, WV, and Mike and Linda Hall of Columbus and Nancy and Donnie Galloway of Ohio; a special cousin and friend, Tim Irvine of Wheeling; and best freind, Travis McNabb of Alabama; and a special friend, Dan Davis of Wheeling; numerous friends on Ridge Avenue and numerous other cousins and friends; sister- in-law, Shannon McLean; brothers-in-law, Steven (Jen) Nawrocki and Joseph Patera; parents-in-law, Paul and Linda Simek.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial with Honors will follow at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
