Harry Castle

CASTLE, Harry Elmer, 82, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Peter Run Road, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, in the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.

He was born October 18, 1930 in Shadyside, OH.

Harry was a retired rural carrier for the Triadelphia Post Office and a retired electrician for the United Mine Workers 1 Short Creek and a member of the East Richland Friends Church, St. Clairsville, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David N. Castle and a brother, Thomas.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia Ruth Winslow Castel; two children, Brian E. Castle (Cathy) of Citrus Height, CA and Sharon Lee Castle of Norfock, VA; a daughter-in-law, Rita Ann Castle of Wheeling; eight grandchildren; three great- grandchildren and one sister, Louise DeFere of Buckhannon, WV.

Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304- 242-2311), where service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 with the Reverend Jerry Wenger officiating. Interment in Sand Hill Cemetery, Sand Hill, WV.
