CARNAHAN, Ross Edward, 90, of Wheeling died Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Bishop H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.
He was born July 26, 1922 in Wheeling, the son of the late Stanley and Bertha Marling Carnahan.
Ross was a retired truck driver for CCC Highway, a U.S. Army veteran and a Christian by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret I. Stewart Carnahan, his second wife, Cordelia Porter Carnahan, two brothers, Ralph and Noel Carnahan, and a sister, Gladys M. Gibson.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Walker and her husband, Doug, of Midlothian, TX; and Karen Anderson of Moundsville, WV; a son, David Keller and his wife, Martie, of Wheeling; three grandsons, Chad Anderson and his wife, Erin of Wheeling; Matthew Anderson of Morgantown and Corry Walker of Dallas, TX; a granddaughter, Kara Walker of Midlothian, TX; two great-granddaughters, Blair and Drew Anderson.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, (304) 242-2311 with the Rev. Dennis Arnold officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard. Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.
