JUNKINS, Evelyn Loraine, 80, of Sand Hill died July 5, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Mom/Me-Me/Sis was a loving, caring, hard working and strong woman who loved and enjoyed crafts, working outdoors and her family.
She was preceeded in death by her mother, Edna Mae Porter Bowman, and father, John Bowman Jr.; grandson, Jeremy Saul Glass; great-grandson, Caleb Andrew Glass; brother, William C. Bowman; and husband, James W. Junkins.
Surviving are her brother and “buddy,” David L. Bowman; brother, Robert Bowman; and sister, Jean Bowman. .
Surviving are her three daughters, Cheryl L. Merinar of Moundsville; Belinda J. (Marty) Merinar of Sand Hill; and Melissa G. (Rich) Stefkovich of Frisco, TX; seven grandchildren, Justin K. Merinar and Amilee J. Merinar; Katie L., Mollie J. and Lacie M. Merinar (the three girls loved and cared for Me-Me until she had to leave us); Rurik F. and Natalia R. Stefkovich; and eight great-grandchildren and twin baby boys coming soon.
There will be no public viewing. A private service for the family will be held at Kepner Funeral Home, Elm Grove and she will be laid to rest at Sand Hill Cemetary with Pastor Debora Dague officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Valley Hospice or The American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Jamie of Valley Hospice for her care and compassion.
