TENNANT, Margaret A., 89, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born August 30, 1923, at Vanderbuilt, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose Soika Redosh.
Margaret was a retired employee of Labell News of Steubenville, Ohio, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Catholic Women’s Club, St. Frances Society, Bridgeport American Legion Auxiliary, and the former Bridgeport Eagles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jack Tennant; a brother, Michael Redosh; three sisters, Anna Solecki, Frances Rogus and Kathryn Niekro.
Surviving are one son, Michael (Cheryl) Tennant of St. Clairsville; four grandchildren, Mark Tennant, Jackie Doyle, Michael Tennant II, Patrick Tennant; a step-granddaughter, Carissa Bontempo; four great-grandchildren and three step- great-grand children; a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Tennant of Peachtree City, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and dear friends, Mary Lou Zimbeco, Patty Lollathin and Barbara Sulek.
Friends will be received Tuesday July 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main St., St. Clairsville with a vigil service at 6 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Chillog as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
