Phillip Coss

COSS, Phillip E. “Pec” Sr., 67, of Wheeling, WV, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 4, 2013.

He was born on June 14, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Wesley George and Ola Coss.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers: Carl Barnett, Gerald Barnett, Tony Coss and James Coss; and one sister, Marlin Whitfield.

Pec is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Shirley (Miscovich) Coss; two loving children, Phillip E. Coss Jr. (Melissa) and Holly Gordon (Kevin); four cherished grandchildren: Kristen, Danielle, J.P. and Gavin; one sister, Phyllis Conto (Gene); and one brother, Wesley Coss. Also survived by his former daughter-in law and close friend, Liz Finsley.

He will be missed by his close friends and family at the Ohio County School System, where he was a bus driver.

There will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital or you may plant a tree in his memory.
