Amiel Fecat

FECAT, Amiel, 88, of Moundsville died Friday, September 20, 2013, at home.

Born in Marshall County on April 8, 1925, Amiel was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Adamiak Fecat.

He was a member of the Hillview Terrace Church of Christ and a retired roof bolter for Consolidated Coal.

In addition to his parents, Amiel is preceded in death by two brothers, Walter J. and Michael Fecat; five sisters, Josephine Moraski, Helen Jupinko,Mary Paolucci, Genieve Schirtsinger and Elizabeth K. Gurney.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, V. Kathleen Fecat of Moundsville; daughter, Patricia (Donald) Schuler of Wheeling,WV; five grandchildren, Kristen (Jeremy) Antill, Jason, Denver, Erin and Lindsey Schuler; two brothers, Raymond (Verna Lee) Fecat and Andrew (Eva) Fecat both of Moundsville; two sisters, Jenny Alberts of MD and Amelia (Carl) Zomiek of MI.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 24, from 5-8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes and Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 25 at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Virginia School of Preaching at 1 Willard Avenue, Moundsville WV 26041.
