Services Monday, at 11 a.m. at Kepner Funeral Home.
Interment in Kadesh Chapel, West Liberty, WV.
GRIFFITH, Gladys Mae Kernoski, 66, of Wheeling passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling.
She was born April 5, 1947, in Wheeling, WV daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Kay Long Kernoski.
Mrs. Griffith was a graduate of the former Triadelphia High School and was retired from the former Stone & Thomas Department store in Wheeling. She was a member of the Roney’s Point Presbyterian Church.
Gladys was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews and her special friend, Rose Loborec.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Griffith, in 2008; two brothers, William and Robert; and her beloved dog, “MiMi.”
Surviving are a brother, several nieces and nephews, including Lori and Chris Henry of Wheeling; several great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013, with the Reverend Darrin Jones officiating. Interment in Kadesh Chapel, West Liberty, WV.
