A Memorial Service will he held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby- Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, with Rev. Mike Dunn officiating.

MASON, Gary Duane, 62, of Moundsville, WV, died Monday, October 21, 2013, in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV.

He was born November 13, 1950, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late Charles W. and Elizabeth Conrad Mason.

Gary was a past employee of AEP, a retired employee of Marshall County Schools and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Clouston United Methodist Church, Cameron, the Cameron American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Janet S. Mason; two sons, Brian (Kathleen) Scott of Wheeling and David Mason of Cameron, WV; two sisters, Terri Jo Meador of Morgantown, WV and Cris (Danny) Jacobs of Moundsville; his stepparents, Carol Mason of Moundsville and Elton Clark of Hancock, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; his beloved bull dog, Jethro.

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will he held at a later date.
