Lois Carmichael

CARMICHAEL, Lois Jane Kittle, 76, of Cameron, WV, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at home.

She was born January 26, 1937 in Marshall County, WV, a daughter of the late William E. and Margarete Foster Kittle.

Mrs. Carmichael was a homemaker and a member of Upper Wolf Run Presbyterian Church, Cameron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Alvin Pettit.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 55 years, David P. Carmichael; three daughters, Diana Lynn (John) King of Moundsville, Paula McCurdy of Cameron and Janet (Rex) Garrison of Moundsville; two sisters, Mary Lee (Ralph) Thomas of Cameron and Rebecca (Michael) Loftis of Heber Springs, Ark.; a brother, William B. (Peggy) Kittle of Cameron; nine grandchildren, Courtney David (Alyssa) Pettit, D. Cody Rine, Ryan M. Pettit, Andrea M. Garrison, Kailey Lynn Pettit, Dalton W. Garrison, Ty C. McCurdy, Adam J. McCurdy and Kianna M. Garrison; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 with Pastor Cindy Foster and Pastor Jim Higginson officiating.

Interment in Upper Wolf Run Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cameron.
