GILLOOLY, Robert B., 90, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2013 in Winter Park, Florida.
He was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on June 17, 1923, the son of Thomas J. and Irene Fallon Gillooly.
He was a graduate of Fairmont West High School and of West Virginia University, where he played football. Bob was a World War II veteran and served in the 3rd Army. He was a regional sales manager for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel for 33 years, as well an Executive Vice President of Sales for McJunkin Corp. in Charleston, W.Va.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Kitty Landauer, son, Dennis (Anne), and grandchildren Tim, Michael, Sean, Clare, Patrick and Kevin. He also is survived by his brother Jack (Ursula), sister-in-law Louise Gillooly and sister-in-law Ginny O’Brien.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Katherine (Kate) Carroll Gillooly (of Wheeling), his son Timothy Patrick, and his brother Tom Gillooly.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. on November 30 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, located at 526 North Park Ave., Winter Park, Fla. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on November 29 at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, located at 7520 Aloma Ave., Winter Park. Burial will follow at a date to be determined in Clarksburg, W.Va.
