WOLFE, Logan U., 23, died Saturday, October 5, 2013, as a result of a boating accident on Lake Hartwell, SC.
Logan was born at Ft. Rucker, AL. He has lived in Richmond Hill, GA for the last 16 years. He was a 2008 graduate of Richmond Hill High School where he played on the varsity baseball team. Logan enjoyed playing softball for the church league and was always active with recreation ball since the age of 7. He loved to fish and be on the water.
Logan was also a diehard Alabama fan. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill.
He was a senior at Armstrong Atlantic State University majoring in Biology and Fisheries Management. He had worked for the Georgia DNR Richmond Hill Fish Hatchery for five years and was presently employed by Bass Pro Shop.
Logan had a gentle spirit and kind heart.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Clark, Moundsville, WV.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Carol (Clark) Wolfe and sister, Katie Wolfe of Richmond Hill, GA; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Clark of Moundsville, WV; paternal grandparents, John and Ruth Wolfe of Alabama; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Eleanor Vandevander of Pennsylvania; aunts and uncles, Annette, Michael and Sunny Wolfe of Alabama, Tina and Frank Elza of Moundsville, WV, and Karen Vandevander of Pennsylvania, and cousin, Xander Wolfe of Alabama.
Funeral services were provided by Richmond Hill Funeral Home and First Baptist Church, Richmond Hill.
