Maxine Byser

BYSER, Maxine Janet Stover, 88, of Olive Ave., Moundsville, WV, passed away November 29, 2013.

She was born November 18, 1925 in Cameron, WV daughter of the late Lawrence and Hazel Virgin Stover.

A Protestant. An employee of the former Fostoria Glass Co. and retired from the former Louis Marx Toy plant. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, John W. Byser; one brother, Charles Leo Hart.

Surviving are one son, Nelson (Sharon) Stover of Waynesburg, PA; two grandchildren, Susan Stover (Brian) Smith of Pittsburgh, PA and Jeffrey (Sheila) Stover of Waynesburg; two great-grandaughters, Morgan and Linzee Stover, Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

At the request of Maxine there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1109 2nd St., Moundsville, WV 26041.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Marshall Co. Senior Center, 805 Fifth St., Moundsville, WV 26041.

Burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Officiating by Pastor Paul Smith.
