LOY, William E. “Billy,” of Falling Timber Lane, Moundsville, died Sunday, December 8, 2013, at home.
He was born November 8, 1934, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late William E. and Elsie Wallace Loy.
He was a Korean War Army Veteran; a retired employee from AEP Kammer Plant; a member of VFW Post #43, Moundsville; and active in animal rescue.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi “Sis” Folger Loy; and a sister, Alice Fay Williams
Survivors include a son, Lee (Deborah Elaine) Loy of Montgomery, WV; two daughters, Crystal (Ronald) Mudge, and Cheryl (Joe) McCool all of Hilliard, OH; a brother, Charles (JoAnn) Loy of Sherrard, WV; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; Aaron Bonar of Columbus, OH, whom he thought of as his son; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Clay Folger officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville where the Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.
