COLVIN, Albert C. “Charlie,” 71, of Dillonvale, Ohio, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at Liza’s Place.
He was born January 22, 1942, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son to the late Albert N. and Marie K. (Meintel) Colvin. He was retired from U.S. Can and was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was a member of the Lansing Sportsman’s Club, the Marshall County Hunting and Fishing Club, and Vans Panels and Animalz. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trap shooting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica L. Myers.
He is survived by two children, Malissa Colvin (Tom Thomas) of Cadiz, Ohio, and Adam (Angela) Colvin of Colerain, Ohio; two brothers, Dennis (Patty) Colvin of Wheeling and Mike (Brenda) Colvin of Wheeling; and four grandchildren, Charles Colvin, Dylan Colvin, Hunter Colvin, and Taylor Thomas.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Glen Baker Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
