CONLEY, Jesse “Brady,” 88, of Sardis, OH, passed away Wed-nesday, January 1, 2014, at his home.
He was born August 17, 1925, in Fly, OH, the son of the late Leroy and Maggie Koher Conley.
Brady was a retired rod repair welder at Ormet with 30 years of service. He was also a school bus driver for Switzerland of Ohio School District, worked at Timkin in Canton, Ohio, and was a farmer. Brady was a member of USWA Local 5724 and a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Frank Conley.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine “Kate” Stewart Conley; a son, Carl Conley; a daughter, Pam Conley, all of Sardis; a granddaughter, Jenny Lawrence of Powhatan Pt., OH, a brother, Gene (Joyce) Conley of Jacobsburg, OH; two sisters, Alberta Morris of Marietta, OH and Betty Farnsworth of Sardis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation per Brady’s wishes. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Locust Grove Cemetery, Sardis, with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating.
