Ronald Birkheimer Sr.

BIRKHEIMER, Ronald Dean Sr., 71, of Paden City, WV, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV.

Ronald was born August 7, 1942, in New Martinsville, WV, son of the late Edwin and Vera Eddy Birkheimer.

He was a retired crane operator for the former Conalco, a U.S. Marine and Army Reservist serving during Vietnam, member of the Sistersville VFW, former Commander of the Paden City American Legion, meber of Wetzel Masonic Lodge No. 39 A.F. & A.M., enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting coins and stamps and attended the Paden City Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Dean Birkheimer, Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Rose Birkheimer; son, Jason Birkheimer of Paden City, WV; three daughters, Carrie Briggs of Knoxville, TN, Cindy Adams of Paden City, WV and Alisha Birkheimer of Sistersville, WV; two brothers, Mark and Gary Birkheimer both of Paden City, WV; three grandchildren, Scott, Christopher and Trinidy; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Jadon and Reagan and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Jarvis – Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV where service will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014 with Jeff White officiating.

Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.

Military rites will be given by the Honor Guard.
