BLACK, Vera Mae Radcliffe, 81, of Wheeling passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Liza’s Place.
She was born January 30, 1932 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Norman and Marie Radcliffe.
Vera was a member of Warwood Presbyterian Church. She was a secretary for the Scottish Rite and former employee of Black Stereo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Black.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Moore of Wheeling and Richard Moore of Pittsburgh, and grandchildren Ricky Moore and his wife, Bethany and Nikki Lindberg and her husband, Jay; a son, Paul Black and his wife, Nadine of California, and grandchildren Kylie Black and Makala Black; four great-grandchildren, Redick, Rylan, Ethan, and Carson; a brother, Curt Radcliffe; and a sister, Sharon Sacco and her husband, Bob.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where a service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens.
