FARLEY, Carl R., 83, of Moundsville died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 21, 1930, in Pekin, IL, son of the late Walter and Alice Hock Farley.

Carl was a retired shift engineer from the Kammer-Mitchell Plant, a member of the First Christian Church, Moundsville, the American Electric Power Company Veteran’s Association and a U.S. Army/Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Miller Farley; one daughter, Carla Lou Farley; and one brother, Edward Farley.

Survivors include two sons, Mark A. (Maryanne) Farley of Morgantown, WV and Richard A. (Andrea) Farley of Moundsville; one brother, Walter (Carol) Farley of Peoria, AZ; two grandchildren, Maria and Carl Farley; a step-grandson: Christopher (Misty) Brannan and two great- granddaughters, Caroline and Lauren Brannan.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced at the First Christian Church, 3rd & Grant Ave., Moundsville.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Mounds-ville.

Arrangements entrusted to the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville.
