LARKIN, William “Bill,” 93, of Elm Grove, Wheeling, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Wheeling Hospital Medical Park.
He was born October 12, 1920, in Lindenhurst, NY, son of the late William H. and Charlotte Irmisch Larkin.
Bill was a retired Citrus Buyer for Tropicana, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving in Panama and North Africa, a member of the Masonic Lodge in NY and the Fort Pierce Shrine Club in Ft. Pierce, FL
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbur Larkin.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Irene Larkin; two sons, William H. (Vivian) Larkin of Oakdale, NY and Robert J. (Sabina) Larkin of East Setauket, NY; step-daughter, Janet McKain of Mt. Olivet; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one sister: Mae VanArsdal of Bayshore, NY and his sister-in-law, Dolores Larkin of TN.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling, with Rev. Greg Markins officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
