Louise Taylor

TAYLOR, Louise Butler, 93, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, WV.

She was born in Wheeling, WV on April 23, 1920, daughter of the late Arthur M. “Dick” and Cornelia Folmar Butler Sr.

Mrs. Taylor was a retired switchboard operator for Ohio Valley Medical Center and a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wheeling, WV.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Taylor, a son, David Wilson 2011, two brothers, Arthur and Pershing Butler.

Louise is survived by her three children, Charlotte (Bill) Chaney of Parkersburg, WV, Rebecca (Glenn) Walters, Philip (Nancy) Wilson and a sister, Corneal Alessi all of Wheeling, WV. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on March 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 141 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV with the Reverend R. Paul Schafer officiating.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
