DILLAMAN, Ruth A., 84, of Paden City, WV passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, at her home.
She was born May 31, 1929, in Wyatt, WV daughter of the late Hursel C. and L. Marie Rule Anglin.
Ruth graduated from WVU in 1951 and taught high school English, French and Literature for 29 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Levi Abbott Turner.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter, and their two sons, Mark and Don (Billie); brother, Cecil (Norma) Anglin; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and cherished extended family and friends.
Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City.
Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Paden City on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 11 a.m.
The family extends their appreciation to Ruth’s wonderful caregivers and to Journey Hospice in Sistersville.
