CUNNINGHAM, Helen Louise (Hall), 87, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, in Methodist West Hospital, Houston, Texas.

Helen was born October 18, 1926, in Moundsville, a daughter of the late Edward and Lena (Castilow) Hall. She was a retired seamstress for Kleeson Co. and a member of the First Christian Church, Moundsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Fish; her second husband, Charles L. Cunningham; and three brothers, Charles, Harry and Eugene Hall.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Karen Wiley and her husband, Bruce, of Katy, Texas; a sister-in-law, Margaret Hall of Moundsville; a sister, Maxine Todd and her husband, Richard, of Mount Olivet, WV; a grandson, Patrick Wiley of Houston, Texas; a granddaughter, Brenna Wiley of Houston, Texas; two step-sons, Rev. Michael Cunningham and his wife, Vicki, of Canton, Mass. and Jeffrey Cunningham and his wife, Shirley, of Proctor, W.Va.; six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at noon, Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, with the Rev. Wesley Howsare officiating. Interment will be in Big Run Cemetery, Cameron, W.Va.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church, Third St. and Grant Ave., Moundsville, W.Va.
