Larry Joseph “Joe” Drake, 69, of Zane Street Glen Dale, WV passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at home.

Joe was born October 28, 1944, in Glen Dale, WV, son of the late Marion and Ethyle Grimm Drake.

A U.S. Army veteran, former owner and operator of the Press Club and Castle Club. A member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Moundsville.

Joe was well know for helping family and friends with WVU and Pittsburgh Steelers tickets.

Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and sisters Marion Jr., Richard Lee (P.I.), Gloria Jo Ann Frye, Betty Jane Blake, Doris Marie Arn; and beloved dog Jada.

Survived by his wife, Christine Collins Drake; two sisters, Donna Kay Junco, Linda Sue (Michael) Sills; two brothers, David Lee and Jerry Drake all of Moundsville; two sisters-in -law, Sara Williams of Moundsville, and Toni Drake of Atlanta, Georgia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no visitation at Joe’s request.

Burial in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
