Mary Rose Beck Miller, formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Riverside Convalescent Center in Smithfield, VA.
She was born on October 23, 1925, in Shadyside, OH, to the late Michael and Mary (Logar) Beck of Wheeling.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and the Women’s Club, when living in the Wheeling area, and she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church once she relocated to Smithfield.

She spent the last few years at a convalescent center near her daughter’s home, where she made friends and became very close to several of the very caring nurses.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford F. Miller, in Spring of 1990.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Stephen Rosen of Smithfield, VA; two grandsons, Zachary and Grant Rosen of Smithfield, VA; a sister, Alma Andlinger of Canton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
