BONNIE EVANS

Bonnie Jean Evans, 73, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Dallas Pike, went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2014.

She was born July 31, 1940, daughter of the late Harold and Ginny Strawn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Evans.

Bonnie was the beloved mother of five children, daughter, Kim Pennington; sons, Jeffrey H. Hand, Brad Hand, Scott Hand, and Billy Hand. She was adored by her daughters-in-law, Jo Anne, Lisa, Corrie, and Charmaine Hand. She was the most wonderful grandmother to all her grandchildren, Allan, Nathan, and Keydra Pennington, Jocelyn, Megan, Scotty, Cole, Seth, Matt, C.J., Ayla, and Luke Hand, and Jodi Johnson; three great-granddaughters, Jalynn Conaway, Keigan Kovalski, and Natalie Pennington.

Also surviving are Danny, Tracy, and Ty Evans; Dawn, Matt, and Cierra; three brothers, three sisters, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many friends and co-workers.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Mark Perkins officiating.

Interment at the convenience of the family.
