Ivan Burton Farrell, III, 67, of Follansbee, WV, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at Valley Hospice Care North in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born on January 5, 1947, in Follansbee, WV, a son of the late Ivan Burton and Vernice “Vicki” (McVicker) Farrell, II.
Ivan retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked as a scarfer.
Ivan was Presbyterian by faith and an avid golfer, trap shooter, and Dallas Cowboy’s Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Pam (Dixon) Farrell; four children, Ian (Megan) Farrell, Wellsburg, WV, Joy (Mathew) McGowan, Robyn Farrell Morris, and Tylee Farrell all of Follansbee, WV; one sister, Sally (Jack) McIntire, Brilliant, Ohio; three grandchildren, Meile Morris, Liam Farrell and Mallix Morris; a nephew, Timothy (Nancy) McIntire; and a great niece, Isabella McIntire.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV, where services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, with Pastor Tim Colvin officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
