We had to say good-bye to our loved one: Kasmer Kenneth Kuri, also known as Butch, on Friday, May 23, 2014, who passed on to heaven surrounded by his family and friends.

He did not want to leave his family, but God was ready for him to join his father, Kasmer Edward Kuri, mother, Pearl Hewitt and his brother, John Kuri and his former wife, June Ryder Kuri.

Kasmer’s partner in life, Elizabeth “Betty Jane” Ezell was by his side as were his children whom he loved very much: Cathy Means, Carin Kuri, Linda Wallace, Dianna Kuri-Sulek, Kenny Kuri, Brian Bell, and step-kids – Thomas Givens, Misty Smith, Candy Cherry and Randy Mathews and his aunt, Alice Lane. He has 20 grandchildren whom he loved very much: Jennifer, Eric, Nicole, Brendan, Kiana, David, Kenny, Kayla, John, Brian Jr., Juanita, Ashley, Isaac, Samantha, Lexie, Camdon, Case, Lain, Michael, Yancie, six great-grandchildren: Damien, Douglas, Allie, Little Michael, Craygen, and Alaska and several nieces, nephews and others whom he loved. “The following are carrying the name in his honor: son, Kenneth Edward Kuri, grandson, David Kenn Kuri, grandson, Kenneth Robert Kuri and great-grandson, Craygen Lee Kasmer Cherry.
