Services today at 1 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Moundsville, with Pastor Ron McCoy officiating.
Richard Lee “Dick” Koontz, 57, of Waynesburg Pike Rd., Moundsville, WV, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014, in Wheeling Hospital.
Dick was born April 18, 1956, in Moundsville, WV, son of the late Earl J. and Eula Mae Lilley Koontz. Owner of Koontz Truck Parts. A member of the Cameron Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Survived by his wife, Helen Adams Koontz, one daughter, Amanda Jean Koontz, two grandchildren, Lidya Koontz and Tripp Dean Phillips, all of Barnesville, OH, four stepchildren, Branden Barna, Jonathan Barna, Erika Barna Wyne and Jamie Daye Barna and two stepgrandchildren, Madison Barna and Johnni Barna Wyne, two sisters, Clara (Glenn) Richmond, of Moundsville, WV, and Joyce (Russell) George, of Eaton, OH, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1109 Second St., Moundsville, WV from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ron McCoy officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
